Hanoi (/hæˈnɔɪ/ or US /həˈnɔɪ/; Vietnamese: Hà Nội ) is the capital of Vietnam & the country"s second largest city. Its population in 2009 was estimated at 2.6 million for urban districts và 7 million for the metropolitung jurisdiction. The number of population in năm ngoái was estimated at 7.7 million people. From 1010 until 1802, it was the most important political centre of Vietphái mạnh. It was eclipsed by Huế, the imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyễn Dynasty (1802–1945), but Hanoi served as the capital of French Indochimãng cầu from 1902 to lớn 1954. From 1954 to lớn 1976, it was the capital of North Vietnam, và it became the capital of a reunified Vietnam giới in 1976, after the North"s victory in the Vietphái nam War.

The đô thị lies on the right ngân hàng of the Red River. Hanoi is 1,760 km (1,090 mi) north of Ho Chi Minh City và 120 km (75 mi) west of Hai Phong đô thị.

October 2010 officially marked 1000 years since the establishment of the city. The Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural is a 4 km ceramic mosaic mural created lớn mark the occasion.

Hyperbolic function

In mathematics, hyperbolic functions are analogs of the ordinary trigonometric, or circular functions. The basic hyperbolic functions are the hyperbolic sine "sinh" (/ˈsɪntʃ/ or /ˈʃaɪn/), & the hyperbolic cosine "cosh" (/ˈkɒʃ/), from which are derived the hyperbolic tangent "tanh" (/ˈtæntʃ/ or /ˈθæn/),hyperbolic cosecant "csch" or "cosech" (/ˈkoʊʃɛk/ or /ˈkoʊsɛtʃ/), hyperbolic secant "sech" (/ˈʃɛk/ or /ˈsɛtʃ/), & hyperbolic cotangent "coth" (/ˈkoʊθ/ or /ˈkɒθ/), corresponding to lớn the derived trigonometric functions. The inverse hyperbolic functions are the area hyperbolic sine "arsinh" (also called "asinh" or sometimes "arcsinh") and so on.

Just as the points (cos t, sin t) khung a circle with a unit radius, the points (cosh t, sinh t) size the right half of the equilateral hyperbola. The hyperbolic functions take a real argument called a hyperbolic angle. The form size of a hyperbolic angle is twice the area of its hyperbolic sector. The hyperbolic functions may be defined in terms of the legs of a right triangle covering this sector.

Sinhala alphabet

The Sinhalese alphabet (Sinhala:සිංහල අක්ෂර මාලාව) (Sinhala Akṣara Malava) is an abugidomain authority used by the Sinhala people in Sri Lanka and elsewhere to lớn write the Sinhala language và also the liturgical languages Pali và Sanskrit. Being a thành viên of the Brahmic family of scripts, the Sinhalese script can trace its ancestry back more than 2,500 years.

Sinhalese is often considered two alphabets, or an alphabet within an alphabet, due to lớn the presence of two sets of letters. The core set, as the śuddha siṃhala (pure Sinhalese, ශුද්ධ සිංහල) or eḷu hōḍiya (Eḷu alphabet එළු හෝඩිය ), can represent all native sầu phonemes. In order lớn render Sanskrit and Pali words, an extended phối, the miśra siṃhala (mixed Sinhalese, මිශ්‍ර සිංහල), is available.

The alphabet is written from left to lớn right. The Sinhalese script is an abugidomain authority, as each consonant has an inherent vowel (/a/), which can be changed with the different vowel signs or removed (see image on left for examples).

Most of the Sinhalese letters are curlicues; straight lines are almost completely absent from the alphabet. This is because Sinhala used to be written on dried palm leaves, which would split along the veins on writing straight lines. This was undesirable, và therefore, the round shapes were preferred.

C mathematical functions

C mathematical operations are a group of functions in the standard library of the C programming language implementing basic mathematical functions. All functions use floating point numbers in one manner or another. Different C standards provide different, albeit backwards-compatible, sets of functions. Most of these functions are also available in the C++ standard library, though in different headers (the C headers are included as well, but only as a deprecated compatibility feature).

Overview of functions

Most of the mathematical functions are defined in math.h (cmath header in C++). The functions that operate on integers, such as abs, labs, div, & ldiv, are instead defined in the stdlib.h header (cstdlib header in C++).

Any functions that operate on angles use radians as the unit of angle.

Not all of these functions are available in the C89 version of the standard. For those that are, the functions accept only type double for the floating-point arguments, leading khổng lồ expensive type conversions in code that otherwise used single-precision float values. In C99, this shortcoming was fixed by introducing new sets of functions that work on float and long double arguments. Those functions are identified by f và l suffixes respectively.

Clip or CLIP may refer to:

Binder clip, a device used for holding thicker materials (such as large volumes of paper) together
video clip (firearms)

A clip is a device that is used khổng lồ store multiple rounds of ammunition together as a unit, ready for insertion inlớn the magazine or cylinder of a firearm. This speeds up the process of loading và reloading the firearm as several rounds can be loaded at once, rather than one round being loaded at a time. Several different types of clips exist, most of which are made of inexpensive sầu metal stampings that are designed lớn be disposable, though they are often re-used.

The defining difference between clips & magazines is the presence of a feed mechanism in a magazine, typically a spring-loaded follower, which a clip lacks.

A stripper clip or charger is a speed-loader that holds several cartridges together in a single unit for easier loading of a firearm"s magazine. A stripper clip is used only for loading the magazine và is not necessary for the firearm khổng lồ function. It is called a "stripper" clip because, after the bolt is opened và the stripper clip is placed in position (generally by placing it in a slot on either the receiver or bolt), the cartridges are pressed, thereby "stripping" them off the stripper clip & inlớn the magazine.
